To the south-west of Nova Ponente, in a delightful, peaceful location, we invite you to stop at the Laab shepherd’s hut, where you will also find a small restaurant. To reach here, walk along the Daumstrasse (1), along the Laabweg (1) and partly walking on the main road, slightly uphill (around 300 m in altitude). You can also get to the Laab hut by car (2 km). Closed on Mondays.The Laab hut is also a departure point for marvellous hikes and walks, for example to the Neuhütt hut, the Jochgrimm, the Weisshorn, Pietralba, and Lavazé.
