Gamsstallscharte – Latemarhütte

The Gamstallscharte is one of the classic top tours between the cliffs of the Latemar, that will give you the opportunity to visit incomparable refuges where you can rest. This hike, suitable for walking enthusiasts and experienced walkers, offers an easy opportunity to access the bizarre world of cliffs. Take the chairlift and head from Nova Ponente to the station above Oberholz. A narrow footpath will take you from here, on the Gamsstallscharte, up the Valsordakessel until you reach footpath no. 506, which to the right leads to the Latemar refuge (1 hour). Follow path no. 22 you can return to the Meier farmstead and to the chairlift in 1 hour or you can choose the footpath for the Ganischger Almund, returning then to Nova Ponente on footpath no. 9 (2 hours).
