Forest rye
For over five years now we have been growing our own “forest rye”, an old and forgotten grain variety that we for example use on bread-baking days at the Pfösl.
Our potatoes
Almost 1,000 kg of organic potatoes are grown on our own potato field, including old varieties such as Blaue Anneliese, Hermes and Désirée. Homegrown simply tastes better!
Teas from our own garden
Our various breakfast teas grow directly in our gardens. Hand-picked, gently dried, combined into various blends – all then served with love.
Fermenting
To ensure a wide selection of fruit and vegetables in the winter months, for example, we ferment and preserve these items once they are harvested.
Cottage garden
In our cottage garden we grow various vegetables and a variety of salads that are either served fresh or fermented for later on in the year.
Syrups
We make fine syrups for delicious drinks from the herbs and flowers in our garden – violets, rose blossoms, elderberry, lemon balm and mint. Cheers!
Fancy a beer?
The Noppbräu, a brewery and farmhouse tavern in Deutschnofen, is famed for its sparkling Helles, full-flavoured Festbier and refreshing Weizen beers, all natural and unfiltered. Cheers!
Cheese please!
Say cheese! The Learner Hof farm in Deutschnofen makes its own cheese, using only the finest fresh and natural milk from original South Tyrolean grey cattle.
Close partnership
We maintain close relationships with our farmers and producers. We strengthen each other and together develop visions such as the “Eggental taste local” project
Young organic farmer
Alex Dadò is unusually young and unusually different. He runs the Pigleider Hof farm in accordance with the book “The Market Gardener” in a purely plant-based cycle, practising regenerative agriculture.
Traditional varieties fresh from the farm Eisath
Variety farmer Michael Pfeifer from Nova Ponente is committed to preserving traditional varieties and supplies us with fresh salad and vegetables every day. His motto: With nature, instead of against it!
Our permaculture farmer
Local farmer Michael Pfeifer looks after our permaculture garden, ensuring that everything grows and flourishes naturally.
