We are delighted that this path has been recognised through various awards and certifications. Above all, we see these distinctions as an incentive to keep moving forward, to rethink and to take responsibility for the future.
Wellness Aphrodite 2026 – Wellness Cuisine
A very special recognition for our Pfösl natural cuisine: in 2026, we received the Wellness Aphrodite award in the category “Wellness Cuisine”. For us, it is not only an award for our cuisine, but also a confirmation of our holistic understanding of wellbeing – shaped by regionality, seasonality, conscious nutrition and sustainable enjoyment.
South Tyrol Sustainability Label – Level 3
Pfösl holds the highest level of the South Tyrol Sustainability Label – Level 3. It corresponds to the internationally recognised GSTC standard and considers the areas of management, socio-economic sustainability, culture and ecology.
GSTC Certification
Our certification according to the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) confirms our comprehensive commitment to sustainable tourism from an ecological, social and economic perspective.
Wellness Aphrodite 2023 – Overall Concept
In 2023, we received the Wellness Aphrodite award in the category “Overall Concept”. The award recognised our holistic approach, which brings together nature, architecture, regeneration, culinary enjoyment and sustainability.
Sustainability Award 2022 – Sustainable Pioneers
At the Hotel trade fair in Bolzano, Pfösl received the Sustainability Award 2022 in the category “Sustainable Pioneers” – a special recognition of our long-standing commitment to responsible tourism.
Connoisseur Circle
In the Connoisseur Circle ranking of South Tyrol’s best hotels, Pfösl achieved first place in the category “Best Nature Hotel”.
Gault&Millau
In the Gault&Millau Hotel Guide 2021, Pfösl was recognised in the category “Best Nature Hotels”.
Green Travel Award
Back in 2019, we received the Green Travel Award in the category “Bio Spa” – recognising our sustainable wellness concept in harmony with nature.
Turris Babel
In 2019, the architecture magazine Turris Babel selected Pfösl as one of South Tyrol’s outstanding examples of contemporary architecture.

For us, sustainability also means social responsibility. Through the Family and Work Audit, we are committed to creating a healthy balance between work, family and personal quality of life for our team, while continuing to develop Pfösl together.
