A farm to table resort

flower

“You are what you eat” couldn’t be more accurate: all the material we consume is used directly by the body to produce energy and is the substance our cells are made of. Our well-being and regeneration start with supplying our body with "real" food. For this reason, we only use high-quality, local and seasonal products in our Pfösl natural cuisine. We grow some of our food on our own farm and look carefully for partners in organic farming in Italy who share our vision of a fair, species-appropriate and sustainable production. Here, you can get to know our farm to table resort, our own products, and our suppliers, thanks to which we are able to offer you farm to table quality at our hotel.

Fresh from our own farm

Die Waldstaude

Forest rye

For many years now we have been growing our own “forest rye”, an almost forgotten, ancient grain variety that we use, among others, on bread-baking days at the Pfösl.
Unsere Kartoffeln

Our potatoes

Almost 1,000 kg of organic potatoes are grown on our own potato field, including old varieties such as Blaue Anneliese, Hermes and Désirée. Homegrown simply tastes better!
Pfösl’s Permakultur-Acker

Permaculture in Italy

In our permaculture garden, which is tended to by local Michael Pfeifer, we grow an impressive selection of natural and tasty vegetables, cultivate old and sometimes forgotten plants, and nurture some very special rarities.
Fermentieren

Fermenting

To ensure a wide selection of fruit and vegetables in the winter months, we ferment and preserve these items once they are harvested.
Brigitte's herb beds

Brigitte's herb beds

“Bread & salt, smoke & blessings, food & drink”... over 50 medicinal herbs thrive here. Carefully harvested, they are used to refine syrups, herbal salts, breads and incense at the Pfösl.
Tees vom eigenen Garten

Hand-made tea

Our various breakfast teas grow directly in our gardens. Hand-picked, gently dried, combined into various blends – and all then served with love.
