When herbs tell stories…
In the Pfösl garden with Brigitte 🤍
A walk through our garden reveals far more than herbs, flowers and fragrant plants. Here, nature unfolds in all its diversity – sometimes unassuming, often surprising and always full of life.
Once a week, Brigitte, our host and herb expert, takes guests on a journey through the Pfösl garden. With her knowledge, experience and personal passion, she reveals the treasures growing right outside our door. Together, we touch leaves, breathe in the scent of herbs, taste edible flowers and discover plants that have been used for generations in the kitchen, as natural remedies or in traditional rituals.
“For me, knowing about herbs means above all learning to experience nature more consciously. So many precious plants grow naturally all around us – we simply need to recognise them and treat them with care and respect,” says Brigitte.
The garden changes with the seasons. In spring, everything begins to emerge quietly. In summer, it unfolds into a world of colours and scents, while late summer is the time to gather herbs, flowers and seeds. Each season brings its own little treasures.
The plants from our garden inspire our Pfösl Nature Cuisine, our rituals and many special moments throughout the hotel. At the same time, the garden provides a valuable habitat for bees, butterflies and countless other small creatures.
The garden walk with Brigitte is therefore much more than a guided tour. It is an invitation to pause, experience nature with all the senses and rediscover a deeper awareness of the world around us. Because often, the most precious things are very close – we simply need to learn to see them again.
